A Local’s Tip for Your Cabin Stay

Pack a picnic, lace up your walking shoes, and choose based on the mood of the day. Craving something mellow and scenic? Barnes Creek Falls or Tumbling Waters are your go‑tos. Want a view without a big effort? Cohutta Overlook delivers. Feeling a little more adventurous? Try Bear Creek or the Cartecay River Loop—with the right permit, of course.

Each of these is under a half‑hour’s drive from Bella Cabina a Casa, making them perfect for a morning wander before hot‑tubbing under the pines—or a sunset stroll with the fire pit glowing back at the cabin. Let me know if you'd like help mapping a route or timing your hike with sunrise or sunset—it’s one of my favorite parts of hosting.
