The Top 3 Reasons to Reserve Timberline Lodge for Your Next Vacation
#1 Live Among the Pines, Minutes from the Lifts
Timberline Lodge sits in the Estates at the Alders, one of Keystone's most private neighborhoods, beside the Snake River wetlands where moose wander the willows at dawn and dusk. The free Keystone shuttle stops about 100 feet away, and River Run Village and the gondola are about a mile up the road.
Mornings start with coffee on the covered deck and the forest in view. Afternoons are for the slopes, The River Course, or a ride along the Snake River Rec Path. Evenings end around the fire pit, a movie by the fire in the lower rec room, and a long soak in the hot tub under the stars. Most of our guests park once on arrival and let the shuttle do the driving for the week.
Whether you are planning a multi-generational family vacation, an executive retreat, a holiday celebration, or a ski week with friends, Timberline Lodge was designed to bring people together and create memories that last a lifetime. We would be honored to welcome you.

Things to Know
A few things we would like you to know before you arrive, so your stay is as comfortable as possible.
🌡️ Colorado mountain homes are not typically equipped with central air conditioning. Thanks to the cool alpine climate, summer evenings generally range between 45° and 55°F. Opening the windows allows fresh mountain air to naturally cool the home, and portable fans are provided for added comfort.
🏔️ Keystone sits at about 9,300 feet. We recommend taking your first day gently and drinking plenty of water while you adjust to the altitude.
🫎 Moose are common in the willows behind the home. Please enjoy them from the deck, never approach, and keep dogs leashed.
🚙 Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended from October through May.
📋 Our House Rules, including the 28+ booking age, holiday check-in dates, and quiet hours, are listed below.
