Karen & Ben Slocum - Owners Ben and Karen Slocum live in Charlotte, NC, with their two children. Karen was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, before moving up and down the East Coast for college and medical training. Ben is from Vienna, VA, but he was raised in a military family and lived everywhere from Seattle to Key West and even Naples, Italy before attending college in western Massachusetts. Ben continued his travels after graduation and resided in Louisiana, Kentucky, Arizona, and Washington, D.C.
