Earn free months on Haven by inviting other hosts to go direct. When your referral activates a paid plan, you earn two months of subscription credit and they receive about one month of value toward their first paid checkout.
How It Works
- Share your referral link — Open Extras → Refer & Earn in your host dashboard (
/host?tab=referrals).
- Your friend signs up — When someone creates a Haven account using your referral link, they are attributed to you.
- They subscribe — When your referral activates a paid Haven plan (any paid tier — Starter, Growth, or Pro), rewards are granted to both of you.
Rewards
- You (the referrer) earn 2 months of subscription credit when your referral’s paid plan activates. Credit is posted to your Stripe customer balance and pays down future invoices. If you are still on FREE, it stays pending until you upgrade and have an active paid subscription.
- Your referral receives about one month of value off their first paid subscription checkout via Haven’s built-in referral coupon (monthly vs. yearly checkouts use different coupon shapes, but both target ~one month of value). Truvi metered billing is separate and is not covered by that coupon. They cannot combine another Stripe promotion code on that same first checkout.
Finding Your Referral Link
- Go to your Host Dashboard.
- Look for the Referrals dashboard card (Refer & Earn in Extras), or go to
/host?tab=referrals (/host/referrals also redirects).
- On the Refer & Earn tab, your link is shown in the share panel. Use Copy invite link or the quick-share buttons (email, SMS, WhatsApp, X).
- On supported devices, use More… to open the system share sheet.
Sharing Your Referral
The referrals page includes three pre-written share messages you can copy with one click:
- Short — A quick invite message with your link.
- Revenue angle — Focuses on saving money by avoiding marketplace fees.
- Guest experience angle — Highlights Haven's booking and guest app experience.
You can also write your own message and include your referral link.
Tracking Your Referrals
On Host dashboard → Referrals (/host?tab=referrals) you’ll see:
- Pending referrals — Signed up through your link but not yet on a paid plan.
- Total referrals — Hosts who converted (paid); these count toward milestones.
- Months earned — Credits already applied to your billing.
- Referral credits — Dollar value of applied balance credits plus pending referral credits (valued from your current subscription when applicable).
- Progress table / activity — Per-invite status, rewards, and recent milestones.
When Credits Are Applied
- Credits are applied automatically to your next billing cycle.
- If you are not on a paid plan yet, credits remain pending and will be applied when you subscribe.
- Credits do not expire.

How much do we each get?

How are my referral credits applied?

How does my friend’s discount work?
If they were attributed to you and have not already had a paid activation, their first subscription checkout applies Haven’s referral coupon (~one month of value). They cannot stack a separate promotion code on that same checkout.
What has to happen for someone to count as my referral?
They must be linked to you through your referral link or referral code during signup, before they subscribe. If they already have a Haven account that was never attributed to you, that relationship cannot be added retroactively.
Do referral credits expire?
No.
Is there a limit on how many hosts I can refer?
No. Every qualifying paid conversion can earn you another two months of credit; there is no cap on invites.
Can I refer myself or use two accounts I control?
No. Self-referral, the same email on both sides, or the same Stripe account for referrer and referred host will block attribution.

Visit your Host Dashboard and open Refer & Earn under Extras, or go directly to /host?tab=referrals.
