A horse motel in the pecan grove
Welcome to Georgia’s premier horse motel, perfectly situated just 40 minutes off Interstate 75 in beautiful Leesburg, Georgia. Whether you need a comfortable stop for a night or a relaxing retreat for a few days, our tranquil setting awaits. Unwind among mature pecan trees, where the only sounds you’ll hear are the gentle nickering of horses and the peaceful chirping of birds.
Mandy & Andy
Travelling with horses?
The apartment’s back door opens straight into the barn, so you can check on your “fur babies” in your socks. Each stall is a spacious 12′ × 12′ with a hay rack, water bucket, feed trough and its own light and fan for warm summer evenings. Add one, two or three stalls to your booking; we clean and sanitize after you leave.

Horse stall
A 12′ × 12′ stall in our barn, right out the apartment’s back door: hay rack, water bucket, feed trough, its own light and fan, and one bag of shavings. Pick one, two or three.
Oatmeal & Raisin Cookies
Per half dozen (6). Soft, chewy, and nostalgic, these oatmeal raisin cookies are a perfect blend of texture and spice. Hearty rolled oats and a hint of warm cinnamon make a golden, toasted base for the plump raisins scattered throughout.
Oatmeal & Chocolate Chip Cookies
Per half dozen (6). A thick, chewy classic of slow-toasted rolled oats and a hint of dark molasses, loaded with milk chocolate chips and a touch of sea salt. Crisp around the golden edges with a dense, soft center.
Cappuccino Cookies
Per half dozen (6). A deeply aromatic espresso-infused dough with a soft, fudgy center, packed with white chocolate chips that mimic the silky foam of a fresh cappuccino. The ultimate treat for coffee lovers.
Cowboy Cookies
Per half dozen (6). A rugged, oversized classic loaded with chewy rolled oats, crunchy toasted pecans, sweet shredded coconut and rich semi-sweet chocolate chips, seasoned with a touch of cinnamon and sea salt.
Lemon Meltaway Cookies
Per half dozen (6). A delicate, buttery shortbread that melts on your tongue, infused with the zest and juice of lemons hand-picked from our own trees and finished with a drizzle of lemon icing.
Cookie Flavor Flight
Contains 8 cookies. Can’t choose just one? A curated quartet of our finest bakes: Oatmeal Raisin, Cappuccino, The Cowboy and Farm Lemon Meltaway. Eight cookies, two of each flavor.
Banana Bread
Per loaf. Moist, tender and packed with flavor: a rich, buttery crumb infused with the sweetness of overripe bananas and studded with melty milk chocolate chips in every bite.
Georgia Pecan Bars
Per bar. The star of the Farm Pantry. We use only the best ingredients, starting with pecans harvested here on our own land. Hearty, flavorful bars drizzled with caramel, perfect for a cozy breakfast or a snack while you’re out visiting the horses.
Rustic Ham & Cheese Scones
Per scone. Large, chunky and made from scratch, packed with savory ham from our homegrown pigs and premium cheese. Small-batch, limited availability. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Sandwich Loaf
Per loaf. Simple and honest: a home-baked sandwich loaf with a tight, uniform crumb that is soft enough for a delicate PB&J but sturdy enough to hold up to a stacked deli sandwich.
Jalapeño Cheddar Dutch Oven Loaf
Per loaf. Bold, rustic and bursting with flavor. The cast-iron pot gives a shatteringly crisp, golden-brown crust over a light, airy interior with pockets of sharp, gooey cheddar and a zesty kick of jalapeño.
Farm-Fresh Eggs
Price per dozen (12). Collected daily from hens that roam and forage: sturdy, multi-colored shells from creamy whites to speckled blues and greens, thick “perky” whites and rich sunset-orange yolks.
Matt’s Wild Cherry Tomatoes
Price per pint. Massive old-school flavor in a tiny package: abundant clusters of half-inch red gems, organic, perfect for snacking, tossing whole into salads or wilting in a pan with olive oil and garlic.

Around the farm
Finding us
Leesburg sits in the pecan country of southwest Georgia, an easy haul from I-75 at Cordele and from US-19. Trailer parking is on the grass in front of the barn; stay to the right of the driveway and drive through the trees.

A true working farm
We are a true working farm. While we love the atmosphere, please expect the natural sounds and smells that come with farm life. We want you to love the authentic experience as much as we do: meet the owners, pet the horses and dogs, and tour the property.
Who lives here

Our own, grazing the grove, plus whoever is checked in to the motel that night.

Black cows with yellow ear tags, and their calves in spring.

The latest litter was born June 24, 2026. The scones’ ham is homegrown.

Pasture-raised in the chicken tractor; their eggs are in the pantry.

Resident barn cats, and whatever they have had lately.

The green tractor and the round bales that feed everyone through winter.
The pecan grove
Mature pecan trees shade the lawn, the pasture and the round pen. Walk the loop around the property in the morning, and watch the sunset through the trees in the evening.
